School Drug Education and Road Aware (SDERA) is a statewide service funded by the Education Department of WA, the WA Mental Health Commission and the Road Safety Commission via the Road Trauma Trust Account.

SDERA has provided services, programs and resources to support schools, early learning centres and communtiy agencies across WA for the past 20 years assisting young people to make safer choices on the road and in situations where drugs and alcohol may be involved.

RTSWA works with SDERA to provide educators, parents and students with resources on how to cope with the effects of road trauma and promotes the service to teachers and students as part of the Keys for Life program.
